Karrie Comeau
Owner, EYT 200, Aerial Yoga Certified
Karrie has been teaching yoga for over 8 years in a variety of settings including studios, breweries, and distilleries. After taking an aerial yoga class 7 years ago in Charleston, she knew it was something she needed in her life! After becoming certified in teaching aerial yoga, she finally decided to open Move Fitness as an aerial yoga and yoga studio in January of 2020. Karrie loves to add challenging and creative sequencing to her classes to keep your mind present on the current moment. While she is not teaching or managing the studio, she enjoys practicing and performing aerial silks, spending time with her son Wyatt, and getting out on the water as often as she can!
Jeannie Callanan
Instructor, RYT-200, ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer
Both a Certified Fitness Trainer and Yoga Instructor, Jeannie is committed to living a healthy and active lifestyle! She has experience in personal training and teaching group fitness and yoga classes. She was born and raised in NY, but has lived in the Lowcountry area for over 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping active outdoors, refinishing furniture, reading, spending quality time with family and friends, and volunteering on the board of the Lowcountry Autism Foundation.


Gloria Owens
Instructor, EYT 500+
Gloria is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor who has been teaching yoga since 1994 and practicing for close to 30 years. She owned a thriving yoga studio in Connecticut before moving to Bluffton. She particularly enjoys introducing new students to yoga in ways that are accessible, practical and inspirational! Gloria’s background as a figure skater, energy healer, philosophy geek, visual artist and natural wellness expert inform all her classes where you’ll experience joyful mindful movement, sublime self-acceptance, and a renewed sense of vitality and peace.
Brianna Sapienza
Instructor, RYT 200
Bri is a Delaware native and has been living in the Lowcountry for 4 years. She completed her 200 hour YTT in 2020 and is also trained in teaching aerial yoga. Her favorite place to practice yoga is on the beach, especially during sunset! When she is not practicing yoga, she is coaching softball or volleyball, or can be found hiking on nearby trails.


Emma Sonzogni
Instructor, 300 RYT
Emma is a French native who moved to America 20 years ago. She started to practice yoga almost a decade ago, and in 2019 she completed a 300-hour Hatha Yoga teacher certification with World Peace Yoga and taught in multiple Yoga studios in Cincinnati, OH. Emma is a wellness enthusiast, certified in Yin Yoga, Restorative, Aerial, Yoga-Barre, and Prenatal-Postnatal Yoga. She takes a holistic approach to life, practicing Reiki, meditation, aromatherapy, and Qigong. Recently moving to Bluffton, she now enjoys doing Yoga and meditation at the beach or by the beautiful live oak trees of the Lowcountry.
Deborah Teasley
Instructor, PhD, ERYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP
A short bio with personal history, key achievements, or After over thirty years as a yoga student, Deborah became a yoga teacher in 2014 through Embrace Yoga Studio in Fayetteville NC. In 2017, she received 500 hour teacher certification from The Carolina Yoga Company in Pittsboro NC and has a certification in therapeutic restoration yoga. Deborah has taught yoga extensively for private clients, workshops and group classes. Her style combines a blend of traditional hatha flow, yin and therapeutic yoga approaches. Her desire is to help her students develop self- appreciation, presence and gratitude for the teachings and rich heritage of yoga. Outside the yoga studio, Deborah is an avid SCUBA diver committed to marine conservation.


Caitlin Wallace
Instructor, RYT 200
Caitlin has always expressed herself through movement, with dance and gymnastics as a child and through the practice of yoga as an adult. A 200-hour RYT Teacher specializing in Baptiste and Vinyasa for over 8 years, she loves to help yogis move and sweat on their mat. Her favorite yoga pose is Happy Baby. Not only is it a wonderful hip, groin, and glute opener, but it also releases tension in the back. And, it ALWAYS brings a smile to her students faces, because it feels so good! When she’s not practicing, Caitlin enjoys weightlifting, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her puppy and husband. She’s a travel junkie who is always making plans for her next adventure.
